David started playing piano at age seven in Paris. Classically trained, he won many competitions and awards, including 1st place at UFAM of Paris. At the age of 20 David entered CIM (Center International of Music, Paris) where he studied Jazz Harmony and Composition. He also got a scholarship at Scola Cantorum where he studied counterpoint.

He moved to New York City in 1998 to pursue his Jazz and Composition Studies. Joanne Brackeen, Michael Weiss, James Weidman, Barry Harris and Ed Simon were his mentors.

For the past twenty years, David has been playing and recording all around the world with various ensembles and musicians, such as Flora Purim, Airto Moreira, Lew Soloff, Slyde Hyde, Joel Rosenblatt, Adam Nussbaum, Thierry Arpino, Paul Beaudry, Andrew Gander and many more... He won Best Jazz Recording Album in the 2010 Awit Award.

In 2012, David moves back to Paris to focus on writing music for Film, TV and advertising. His work can be found on US Television such as HBO, MTV, E!, A&E and many more channels.

In 2015 he creates F.A.M. with french composer Remy Chaudagne. A collaboration dedicated to writing music for TV, Film and Advertising worldwide.
